We build the tools we needed ourselves.

Every affordable housing operator ends up needing something their software does not do. A tracker for inspection corrections. A report the management system will not produce. A way to pull the same six numbers out of forty files without reading forty files.

Most organizations solve this with a spreadsheet that one person maintains and nobody else understands. It works until that person is on leave.

We build the alternative — and because we run compliance ourselves, we are building against a problem we understand rather than a specification somebody handed us.

A note on AI. We use it to build tools faster, and we use it inside tools where it earns its place — pulling structure out of documents, drafting from a template, summarizing a large set. We do not use it to make compliance determinations. A person makes the call; the tool makes the call cheaper to reach.
