Our Story

The story of Castor and Pullox, known together as the Dioscuri comes from Greek Mythology about twin half-brothers and their epic journeys.

Castor Properties and Story of the two Co-Founders echo the story of the Dioscuri and the journey of brothers.

Both partners have worked side-by-side in affordable housing for 16 years bringing together solutions to the most complex challenges.

Andrew Swinkoski

Co-Founder & COO

Andrew has been active in Affordable He has had direct operational oversight of 7,000 units and understands the complexity of management and compliance. Andrew has worked extensively with the Institute of Real Estate Management working on several boards and their Governing Council. He has also written and contributed for the Journal of Property Management. Andrew is known for his work in troubled affordable housing and successfully finding solutions to site issues and company operations. Certifications Held: ARM LEED Green Associate MORS EIVS FHS

Alexander Skuratovsky

Co-Founder & CEO

Alex is an accomplished professional with 26 years in the construction and property management expertise. Alex has worked extensively to generate impressive outcomes that consistently exceed expectations. 16 years standalone expertise in REAC prep/rehab thru out the US. Ability to direct multi-site property management, construction, maintenance, and modernization projects through their entire life cycle within diverse sectors including commercial, industrial and residential (including low-income multifamily properties and Public Housing). Licenses Held: NYC Contractor #2065627 EPA #F212990-1
